  1. Any help? Can’t install it: “Parallels Desktop” cannot be opened because Apple cannot check for malicious software.

    Ive already follow the steps on the website but still cannot open..

  2. I am on Monterey (12.0.1)
    I have problem!
    Gives the installation time of this error. Of course, I did the installation according to the instruction
    The installation cannot continue as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again

  3. Specify your system. Intel or Apple silicon, and which OS. Basic information before someone could give tips. If not possible to install, deactivate protection helps

  4. After installing it says to complete parallels desktop setup, please restart your Mac. When restart & open the pd app it again pop up same to restart. Please guide.

  5. I got it working on M1 big sur here are the steps:

    1 – Download the installer from the website, and install it
    2 – Activate the trial version
    2a – If you already have your trial expired, change the computer Date to prior the first time you installed Parallels. (Before the trial ou sometime during the trial time)
    3- Now download PD Runner and install it. ( https://github.com/lihaoyun6/PD-Runner )
    4- PD Runner must be running before you open Parallels.
    5- Once thats done you can change back the Date or keep using it as trial, after expire the trial PD runner will keep working and you will be able to use Parallels.

  6. Parallels Desktop Business Edition v17.1.1-51537 (12 December 2021) install and works Windows 10 good. But not work Windows 11. I’m continuing with PD Runner.

  7. This latest version successfully installs on M1 Mac, but it’s still an intel binary and does not run. Needs to be an Apple Silicon or Universal binary.

  8. still not working on MBPro2021 with M1pro and Monterey: the binary is not universal. it installs but then the app is marked by a “not allowed sign”

  9. v17.1.1-51537 as of 15 January 2022 Can be installed on Big Sur but generates critical error message when trying to open Windows 11. Log signals error at licensing stage. Badly cracked ??

  10. Anybody could run the app in Monterrey with M1 chip …. ? I am using now PD Runner, but sometimes I receive the security message from Paralles Desktop about the end of trial period…

  11. v17.1.2.51548 Still not working. Says “Failed to execute the operation.” Got newest Big Sur. Does it even work on Monterey if I upgraded to it?

  12. Here is what I did to get Parallels Desktop Business 17.1.2.51548 working on MackBook Pro 2017 on Monterey 12.3 (NOT M1)

    – For ‘Operation Failed. Failed to execute the operation’ error
    – Change Hypervisor from Apple to Parallels
    – CPU & Memory => Advanced
    – Hypervisor => Parallels
    – For ‘Network Initialization Failed’ error
    – Open Terminal
    – Type: sudo nano /Library/Preferences/Parallels/network.desktop.xml
    – Add: 0
    OR
    – Change -1 to 0
    – Press Ctrl + X to close
    – Press Y to save changes

    I am running Windows 11 and Linux Mint 20.3 without any issues.

    Good Luck,
    OSS
