Sketch is an innovative and fresh look at vector drawing for the Mac. Its intentionally minimalist design is based upon a drawing space of unlimited size and layers, free of palettes, panels, menus, windows, and controls. Though simple to use, it offers powerful vector drawing and text tools like perfect Boolean operations, symbols, and powerful rulers, guides, and grids.
Does not work on Catalina, app is flagged as “damaged” even with Gatekeeper disabled (sudo spctl –master-disable).
I found a workaround by typing this command in Terminal:
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Sketch.app
Now works normally in Catalina
You are a legend, thanks a lot
always crashes when opening the app after Catalina 10.15.4 updated. Can you fix it? Thanks
As of most apps, you need to self-signed the app using codesigner or you can use the command provided by checkmytrash
I can not open the app because of a problem
Check with the developer to make sure Sketch works with this version of macOS. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and macOS.
anyone have the same problem with me?
Crashes on Apple Silicon macbook (M1) with error:
libConfigurer64.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture
Really simple! Find app in finder -> Get info -> check the box for “Open using rosetta”
Works perfectly 🙂
