1Password 7.3.1 CR2

1Password is a password manager that uniquely brings you both security and convenience. It is the only program that provides anti-phishing protection and goes beyond password management by adding Web form filling and automatic strong password generation. Your confidential information, including passwords, identities, and credit cards, is kept secure using strong encryption.

1Password fully supports major Web browsers, including Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera. All browser extensions share the same encrypted data which means you never need to manually copy your passwords between browsers or from the password manager to a browser ever again!

1Password is also available for and syncs with Windows, iOS, and Android.

  1. Not working anymore 🙁 Everytime I tried to open it crash. I’ve tried to uninstall- install but no luck. What might be the problem???

  2. I didn’t disable SIP.

It looks like the certificate used by TNT team was revoked or expired today(Jul12). For all other apps released from TNT team, you only need to re-do the “codesign” work, and they will not crash and work again.

But this 1password has Safari extension included, so if forcefully signing the app with sudo, the app will crash as well. So I have to go back using 7.0.4(tested), then use 7.1.1 (tested). Time machine overwriting 7.3.1 to 7.1.1 doesn’t work, you have to use .pkg to re-install.

    hope it helps.

    1. downgrade from 7.3.1 to 7.1.1: after installing 7.1.1, open 7.1.1, click the button name starting with “restore”. then install 7.0.4, then reinstall 7.1.1. better offline during the whole process.

pls remember, 7.1.1 doesn’t work with Safari, but all other browsers.

  3. I didnt manage to make it work. SIP disable, codesign installed, uninstall/install some many times that i give up. Any solution for this problem???

    1. Have you done this?

downgrade from 7.3.1 to 7.1.1: after installing 7.1.1, open 7.1.1, click the button name starting with “restore”. then install 7.0.4, then reinstall 7.1.1. better offline during the whole process.

  4. Thank you. The 7.3.1 CR2 software opens but the (FireFox) extension does not work (even if it is reinstalled). I stayed at version 7.2.5 (Mac OS 10.14.1). Thanks anyway for all your efforts.

  5. Thank you, it works on Mojave; about the Firefox extension, you have to install new from 1Password.app menu > Install browser extensions and choose “Download 1Password for your browser” above, not “Or, download 1Password X”. Regarding the Safari extension, it is automatically installed during 1PW installation itself, and it’s working so far.

  6. No. The extension really does not work .Mojave 10.14.1. My son is no longer there, I can not update my Hackintosh Mojave higher (Is it that blocking?).
